FRENLOOP

COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Be kind to other frens.

FrenLoop only works because frens pass it to each other. That makes the community the product, so here is what we expect, and what we do when it does not happen.

The short list

  • Be kind to other frens. Everyone here started with an egg and no idea what was in it.
  • Help new frens.Answering "what is this" well is the single most useful thing you can do here.
  • Don't spam. Share your Fren Link where it is welcome. Mass-posting it in unrelated places is not growth, it is noise, and it gets FrenLoop blocked for everyone.
  • Don't abuse sharing. No bots, no click farms, no fake accounts to touch your own egg. It makes your Loop meaningless and everyone else's Loop a lie.
  • Don't exploit bugs. If you find one that gives an advantage, tell us. We would rather thank you than ban you.
  • Keep it welcoming. No harassment, hate, threats, or sexual content involving minors. Ever, anywhere, including in slugs.

Your slug

Your slug is public, it is in your Fren Link and on every share card. Choose one you are happy for strangers to see.

We will change or remove a slug that is:

  • A slur, or targeted harassment
  • Impersonating a real person, brand or the FrenLoop team
  • Sexual content involving minors, or anything illegal
  • Deliberately misleading, such as posing as support or a giveaway

Sharing well

A Fren Link works best when it is a real invitation. Some ways that tend to work, and stay welcome:

  • Send it to frens who would actually find it funny.
  • Post it once somewhere it fits, not ten times everywhere.
  • Respect each platform's rules, they are not ours to override.
  • Never buy touches. It is detectable and it ruins your own Loop.

Reporting

If you see something that breaks these rules, whether it is a slug, a share, or behaviour in a community space, tell us via Contact. Include a link and a short description. You will not be identified to the person reported.

What happens when rules are broken

We aim for the smallest action that fixes the problem:

  1. A note explaining what needs to change.
  2. Removing inflated counts, or resetting a slug.
  3. Making a Loop unlistable, so it is no longer discoverable.
  4. Terminating access, with virtual items forfeited.

Serious cases skip straight to the last step and, where appropriate, to the authorities. That means threats, content involving minors, and illegal activity.

If you think we got it wrong, reply and say so. We would rather be corrected than be consistent about a mistake.
